Sarah Gosling - Manager & Case Manager

Experience:

Profile:

  • Sarah is a highly experienced occupational therapist with 20 years' experience, ten of which were spent in the NHS. 

  • Sarah has been responsible in case managing clients who have sustained serious physical and psychological injuries, bringing her experience in the case management of complex and catastrophic injury clients. 

  • Sarah has a wealth of experience from working in a medium secure hospital in the NHS, social services to the private sector, working in a neurological rehabilitation unit with spinal, and brain injury clients. Sarah also has extensive experience in management and case management and is dedicated to achieving the best outcome for the client.  

Qualifications & Memberships:

  • BA (Hons) and BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy

  • BABICM, CMSUK, HCPC and RCOT

Hobbies:

  • Outside of work Sarah enjoys walking, gardening, spending time with her family and keeping busy with her two children and dog.

Kate Dobson - Business Development Manager

 Profile:

  • Kate has a wide range of business development knowledge, developed over a 15 year time span and has valuable experience in the case management sector. Kate works with the team at Birchwood & Co Case Management working in line with our mission statement and ethos. 

  • " I enjoy this sector immensely and look forward to developing Birchwood & Co Case Management as a team".

Hobbies

  • Outside of work, Kate runs a smallholding and rural campsite with her partner and children and has a keen interest in IT and all things digital.

Mignone Silveira - Case Manager

Profile:

  • Mignone is an experienced Physiotherapist and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Case Management Society UK (CMSUK) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

  • Mignone has been involved in case managing the recovery of patients who have sustained serious physical and psychological injuries, bringing over 10 years’ experience in the management of complex and catastrophic injury clients. 

  • Mignone at the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge gained her Masters in Physiotherapy. Since then, she has worked in several NHS and private settings specialising in case management of patients with spinal, brain injury and complex orthopaedic injuries.

  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MSc in Physiotherapy.

  • CMSUK, HCPC, MCSP, pending BABICM

  • PG Diploma in Preventative and Promotive Healthcare.

  • Outside of work Min enjoys keeping fit through attending the gym, and walking her two dogs.

Dr Kate Woollaston - Chartered Clinical Psychologist

Profile:

  • Dr Woollaston is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, with 17 years experience working in NHS mental health services, working with adults and children.

  • Dr Woollaston provides psychological guidance and auditing of reports at Birchwood & Co Case Management.

  • Dr Woollaston works part-time in the NHS and also lectures at the Anna Freud Centre in London and offers supervision to professionals working privately, in the NHS and local authority.

 

Qualifications & Memberships:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych) - University College London

  • Post-Graduate Diploma in Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy - University College London

  • First Class Honours Degree in Psychology - Westminster University

Jordi Brunés - Partner & Case Manager

Profile:​

  • Jordi has over 16 years’ experience working in the NHS and private sector, working with client's sustaining complex orthopaedic, spinal/brain injury and amputation.

  • Jordi is a qualified Physiotherapist and developed broad experience in the NHS prior to embarking on a career in Physiotherapy, working in a variety of NHS hospitals and A+E trauma theatres and anaesthesia, supporting catastrophic injured patients in theatre.

  • Whilst working as a Case Manager for Medicess and JS Parker Jordi has gained valuable experience working with complex and catastrophic injured clients and has continued those skills to develop the services at Birchwood & Co Case Management. Jordi’s client centred approach and dedication to his client's ensures they are afforded every opportunity to regain independence and improve quality of life.

  • Jordi has also worked as a Team leader managing a team of 16 Case Managers and auditing complex cases for a Government contract and worked as a Case Manager within Legal and General's triage rehabilitation department supporting client's with cancer, physical and mental health problems.

  • Jordi is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management (CMI).
