Jordi has over 17 years’ experience working in the NHS and private sector, working with client's sustaining complex and catastrophic injury.

 

Jordi is originally from Wirral and he developed broad experience in the NHS prior to embarking on a career in Physiotherapy, working in a variety of NHS hospitals and A+E trauma theatres and anaesthesia, supporting catastrophically injured patients in theatre.

 

Whilst working for a number of case management companies, including managing a team of case managers and working with one of the largest brain and spinal cord injury case management companies in the UK, Jordi gained valuable experience working with complex and catastrophic injured clients and has continued those skills to develop the services at Birchwood & Co Case Management. Jordi’s client centred approach and dedication to his clients, ensures the ethos of Birchwood & Co Case Management remains constant that client's are supported to improve their quality of life and live a fullest life as possible post traumatic event.

Jordi led the service to become CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulated. He is also the registered manager and is responsible for ensuring the company and employees are compliant with the Health & Social Care Act 2012 and CQC regulations and fundamental standards, ensuring Birchwood & Co Case Management is a safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led service. 

 

Jordi is also a member of BABICM (British Association of Brain Injury & Complex Case Management) and CMSUK (Case Management Society UK). 

 

Outside of work, Jordi has a keen interest in sport and in his spare time works as a Physiotherapist for SWFC (Sheffield Wednesday Football Club) Academy and enjoys keeping fit through attending the gym, cycling and walking his dog.
